Telgraf Privacy Policy
Effective October 27, 2026
Telgraf is a private calling and messaging app. This page explains what we store, what we don't, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Your email address and name — to create your account and sign you in with a one-time code. We don't use passwords.
- Your contacts — the names, emails and notes you type into Telgraf. They are stored for you alone; the people you save are never told, and nobody else can see them.
- Your messages — text messages are stored on our servers so they can be delivered when the other person is offline and shown as history.
- Your call log — who you called or were called by, when, and for how long. Not the content: voice and video are never recorded.
- Device push tokens — so your phone can ring and show message notifications when the app is closed.
What we don't do
- We don't record, store or listen to calls. Voice and video travel directly between the two devices whenever possible, encrypted (DTLS-SRTP). When a direct path isn't available they pass through our relay server, still encrypted, and are never kept.
- We don't show your email address to other users. Other people see only your name and username.
- We don't sell data, show ads, or share your information with third parties for marketing.
- We don't track you across other apps or websites.
Who can see what
Other Telgraf users can see your name and username, and whether you are currently reachable. Nothing else about you is visible to them.
Invitations
When you invite someone by email, we send one message to that address on your behalf, with your name and a link. We keep their address only to let you call and message them once they join.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account exists. To delete your account and everything stored with it — contacts, messages, call log — email info@telgraf.com from the address on your account and we will remove it within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
